New Ravenscry Contact Card

New Ravenscry contact cards are coming. If you are lucky enough to receive one in the coming months at a concert or festival near you, there is only one condition by which you must observe in order to keep it. You must carry it with you at all times and show every person you come in contact with to help spread the word. So look out for these cards at concert venues very soon.

The New Music Video Missing Words is Out Now!

Remember folks, the new album, The Attraction of Opposites will be released May 27th

Over the past couple of years, Ravenscry have been busy powering up their tools and refining their skills. Not only were they hard at work on the new upcoming album, The Attraction of Opposites, but were busy creating Ravens Studio, getting in a load of new equipment, tying up sponsorships, and striving to reach musical perfection. Of course reaching that summit, is not always easy, in such a subjective and difficult route to your sound systems and ipods, but the more work one puts in, the better chance one will deliver great results.

Here is the first such creation of the new vision and direction, which is still clearly the trademark Ravenscry sound you have come to know, but with a refinement, both musically and lyrically. So here is a peak in to the upcoming album, with the track, Missing Words.

 

Some PPM Fest Highlights

The band are back fresh from their performance at the prog Power Metal Fest in Belgium. Here is what they had to say about their appearance at the show.

You will get this card with a download code, it will give you the chance to download the full album in high quality once released on May 27th and then we will ship the hard copy to you with no additional costs.

And here it is! New Album name and cover art is finally revealed

I am sure you have all been aware that the band have been busy, tucked away at the Ravenscry Studio for many months, putting the finishing touches to the new upcoming album. But the silence has finally been broken and Ravenscry are back in full attack! Without anymore rambling, I bring you, (Drumroll would be appropriate about now)

Here is a short statement from the band regarding the new album.

Big news everyone! The Attraction of Opposites is going to be released on May 27th. It has been recorded at Ravenstudio, mixed by Roberto Laghi and mastered by Dragan Tanasković (In Flames, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Entombed) at Bohus Sound Recording in Sweden. The album, whose artwork has been created by Stefano Mattioni, will be distributed on all digital stores by Audioglobe and the physical format, distributed by Revalve Records, will be available in Europe, USA and Japan too.

Yes that's right, May 27th! so make a note of that in your diary....app or whatever young people use these days. So what do you think of the album name? How about this incredibly artistic cover? What does it conjure up in your minds? Stay tuned! More news to come.
